- 2 whole bell peppers
Instructions
- Lay the whole peppers on their sides in the air fryer basket.
- Set air fryer to 400°F and cook for 10 minutes. Flip peppers and continue to cook until well charred in places on the outside, 3-5 more minutes.
- Remove from air fryer and put into a bowl. Put a lid or inverted plate on top so that steam is trapped with the peppers.
- Once cool enough to handle, use fingers and a paring knife to remove skin. Pull middles out of peppers and discard. Remove any seeds that remain stuck to peppers (rinse if needed).
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
