Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 whole bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Lay the whole peppers on their sides in the air fryer basket.
  2. Set air fryer to 400°F and cook for 10 minutes. Flip peppers and continue to cook until well charred in places on the outside, 3-5 more minutes.
  3. Remove from air fryer and put into a bowl. Put a lid or inverted plate on top so that steam is trapped with the peppers.
  4. Once cool enough to handle, use fingers and a paring knife to remove skin. Pull middles out of peppers and discard. Remove any seeds that remain stuck to peppers (rinse if needed).
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
