When chicken parm and a bun love each other very much… delicious sliders are born.
Sliders are probably the best thing to happen to the burger since… well, the creation of the burger! And Chicken Parmesan is definitely the best thing to happen to Italian food since… well, maybe pizza.
It’s undeniable, burgers and Chicken Parmesan are each delicious on their own, but when they’re mashed together, it’s downright delectable.
Perfectly crisp fried chicken, nestled in a soft miniature bun, piled with melty cheese and topped with garlicky tomato sauce. Downright delectable, right?! Oh did we mention it’s all topped with garlic, Parmesan butter? Yeahhhh. There’s that, too.

What’s In A Chicken Parmesan Slider?
For these little sandwiches, we’ll be cutting up a chicken breast into six pieces. The chicken gets breaded with egg, flour, and a breadcrumb mixture seasoned with garlic powder and oregano.
In addition to that, we need rolls and fixings! I like to use potato slider buns for mine, but Hawaiian rolls are also a popular choice for sliders. We’ll also be using slices of mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce in our Chicken Parm sliders.
The final component, and it is a key one, is the Parmesan and garlic butter mixture that we will drizzle on the top bun. You won’t want to skip this step.
What Is Pizza Sauce?
It’s the sauce used for pizza, of course. But more specifically, it is a little different than marinara sauce. Marinara is a thicker sauce used for pastas and dipping. It’s also more seasoned and simmered for a longer time. Pizza sauce is looser and is pureed and only lightly cooked, if at all. This is because it ends up getting cooked in the oven with the pizza, or in this case, the sliders.
Only have marinara? Don’t worry, you can absolutely use that instead of running to the store. You can thin it out with some tomato juice or water if you’d like a more pizza sauce consistency.
Making The Sliders
These babies couldn’t be simpler, and they’re a total home run for entertaining. Fry the chicken, assemble the sliders in a baking dish, and in the oven they go for about 20 minutes. BOOM, easy and impressive when guests are around.
This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a larger crowd and will quickly become a family favorite. I hope you love these easy Chicken Parmesan Sliders as much as I do!

- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut chicken breast in half, butterflying it, and then cut each half into thirds, yielding 6 pieces of chicken.

- Heat a large frying pan on medium-high heat.
- Bread the chicken by dipping first into the flour, then into the egg, and finally into the seasoned breadcrumbs.

- Melt the butter and stir in the Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and the remaining 1 teaspoon of oregano. Drizzle that on top of the sliders, cover with foil, and place into the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, uncover and bake for an additional 8 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and serve while still hot.
