The secret ingredient for the easiest frozen margaritas is probably already in your fridge!
This is the easiest frozen margarita you’ll ever make! It uses simple ingredients you probably already have in your fridge or pantry and comes together in 10 minutes (or less). If you like our classic strawberry frozen margarita recipe, you’ll love this.

Why Is This The Easiest Frozen Margarita?
The secret to this frozen margarita recipe is using strawberry jam, which provides a punch of sweet strawberry flavor. It’s so quick and easy without all that fussing with fresh or frozen strawberries and then having to make a simple syrup that has to be cooked and cooled. We’re skipping all those steps and getting right to the good stuff.
The strawberry jam mixes with the ice to create a perfectly frozen, perfectly sweet margarita with a subtle strawberry flavor that intensifies as it melts.
It’s an easy frozen drink to make for kids, too, without the tequila of course. It’s a great slushy consistency that they will love on a hot day. Without the tequila, the frozen strawberry mix can also be poured into popsicle molds for a simple dessert.
How To Make Frozen Strawberry Margaritas
To make this easy frozen treat, add the ice, strawberry jam, fresh lime juice, a bit of salt, and tequila, if using. Pulse the blender until the ice is mostly crushed, and then run continuously on high speed until the mixture is thick and smooth. A high power blender makes easy work of this, but as long as yours can crush ice cubes, you’ll be fine.
Mix together the remaining salt and the sugar, then spread onto a small plate. Give the lime wedge a little bit of a squeeze so that juice begins to drip. Run the lime wedge around the rim of each of the glasses and then dip the glass rims in the salt-sugar mixture until it’s well coated all the way around. Fill each glass with the frozen margarita mixture and optionally garnish with fresh strawberries and lime. So delicious!
Customize Your Easy Frozen Margarita
For this recipe, I went pretty classic margarita. I also tend to have strawberry jam on hand, but you can use all sorts! Try it with raspberry, peach, apricot, or blackberry – whatever you like. You could even use a lemon jam for a refreshing lemon-lime version. Just keep in mind that some jams have seeds, which you may not want to use for your drink.
