Instructions

  1. Cut avocado lengthwise until your knife reaches the pit, then turn avocado around to cut around to the other side.
  2. Hold the two halves of the avocado and twist to separate them and pull them apart.
  3. Run a knife or spoon around the pit and remove it.
  4. Cut each avocado half in half again and peel off the skin.
  5. Now the ripe avocado flesh can be sliced, diced, or mashed for your recipe.
