My Spicy BBQ Sauce has enough heat for the spicy lovers of the world and a touch of sweet to balance out the spice. Best of all, you control just how spicy it gets.
Everyone needs a great go-to barbecue sauce in their lives and we have several – like this Homemade BBQ Sauce or my sweet and tangy Honey BBQ Sauce. However, so many of the bbq sauces that fill the shelves at the grocery stores are extremely sweet and basically glorified ketchup. Homemade Spicy BBQ Sauce is really the way to go. Let me tell you why.
It’s simple to make, delicious on several bbq eats, can be made it batches and frozen for when you need it and tastes way better than store bought. Even better, you can take that heat level as high as you want to.
The first thing that will hit your tongue when you taste this sauce is the spicy smokiness followed by a vinegary tang. The resulting product is smooth and goes well on pulled pork and chicken.
What makes this sauce spicy? It contains cayenne pepper and Tabasco hot sauce to turn up the heat. You can use any hot sauce that you prefer and even add more if you like it extra hot!
Another perk of this recipe is that you probably already have most of the ingredients in your pantry. Clean, simple ingredients that join together to make the best Spicy BBQ Sauce you’ll ever have.Print
