I love mushrooms all year, but something about autumn makes me want to use them even more. I think it’s because my mom used to go mushroom picking a lot when I was in my teens. I’d tag along for the drive and maybe learn a bit about which mushrooms were safe. A bit though, only. I still don’t trust myself to go foraging.
