It’s pumpkin season! But don’t stop at pie, there’s lots you can do with this fall favorite.

Are you excited for fall? I know I am! Time for pumpkin spice and everything nice (or spooky!).
My love of pumpkin doesn’t stop at pumpkin spice, nor even at the traditional Thanksgiving classic, pumpkin pie. Oh no. My love of pumpkin goes to some pretty crazy places. Come along with me and see all the wonderous things that pumpkin can be. It won’t be scary, I promise!
In this pumpkin series, we’ll be looking at the best way to roast pumpkin seeds, and we’ll offer some new and exciting flavor options to go with them. We’re also diving deep into pumpkin pie to find out the best recipes there, and to find out whether you really need to make your own pumpkin puree or not (the answer will make the laziest of bakers, me included, VERY happy!).
But we’re not stopping there. No way! Pumpkin isn’t just about sweets and treats. Pumpkin is a squash, a vegetable in its own right, that is delicious in so many savory preparations. We’re going down that road with pumpkin soup, pumpkin risotto, and even pumpkin salad dressing!
I don’t know about you, but I’m even more excited about fall, and about going beyond the spice, than I’ve ever been before. If you’re feeling it too, come along with us on this exciting pumpkin journey by checking back over here in our pumpkin series regularly to see all that we’ve uncovered!
I hope you have a lovely, crisp, cool, and cozy day!
