Meatloaf Seasoning Recipe

Recipe as written fits into a standard (4-oz.) spice jar, but can easily be doubled or tripled. Use 4 teaspoons of this seasoning blend for 1 pound of ground meat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 and 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 and 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 3 tsp. paprika, any kind
  • 3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl whisk together all ingredients until well combined.
  2. Transfer mixture to an airtight container. Store up to 3 months in a cool, dry, dark, place for the best flavor.
