- 1/4 of a lime
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 1/2 cups ice cubes, divided
- 3/4 cup tomato juice
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. horseradish
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. hot sauce
- 1 rib of celery
Instructions
- Cut a slit in the lime quarter and run the slit around the rim of a tall 12 ounce glass (a highball glass) to moisten it with lime juice. Do not discard the lime.
- Measure the celery salt onto a plate and invert the glass onto the plate. Rub the lime-wetted rim of the glass in the celery salt.
- Measure 1/2 cup of ice cubes into the glass. Set aside.
- Put the remaining cup of ice into a cocktail shaker. Squeeze your lime quarter into the shaker. Then add the tomato juice, vodka, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire, and hot sauce. Shake well.
- Strain the liquid over the ice in the prepared glass.
- Garnish with the celery and serve.
