This sweet balsamic dressing is so easy, just two ingredients. And it’s fat-free and delicious. How on earth is that possible. We don’t know but we know that it is! Our Salad Dressing topic is brought to you by Stonyfield Organic.
This is a dressing recipe that my mom gave me years ago. Like at least 12 years ago. I’ve been making it ever since. The reason that I make it all the time is that it’s delicious, it’s fat-free and I’ve memorized it so I don’t need to go searching for the ingredient list.
Of course, when you can make homemade salad dressing with only balsamic vinegar and honey, it’s pretty easy to memorize. This recipe is quick and perfect for a simple, fresh salad.
Making Sweet Balsamic Dressing
This balsamic salad dressing has two ingredients and they’re in equal amounts. Honey and balsamic vinegar. That’s it! Put the ingredients in a jar. Put on the lid and shake it hard. Done.
You hardly need directions for that, but there you go!
Using Balsamic Dressing
It’s totally delicious, especially on a salad that has sweet ingredients, like the one above with strawberries and sauteed sugar snap peas on some fresh greens.
You could also use it as kind of a glaze over roasted veggies like Brussels sprouts or butternut squash. Delicious.

I don’t understand how this can be 160 calories? Honey is 64 per TBS and vinegar is 14. How do you get the 160. It doesn’t come out even if you double ?? Please explain
